On March 11, an important event unfolded during the ongoing implementation of the ECMI Kosovo Project. The ECMI Kosovo Project team convened for a working meeting with the Municipal Working Group and MED representatives in the municipality of Gjilan.

The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss the current status of Learning Centers within the municipality of Gjilan.

Furthermore, a key focus of our efforts during the meeting was to advocate for the initiation of essential procedures for the introduction of the Draft Municipal Action Plan.

This plan aims at preventing school dropouts at both levels of the pre-university education.

The plan shall be presented to the municipal assembly for thorough discussion and subsequent approval.

These actions are part of the project: “Supporting continuous access and retention in public education in 15 municipalities of Kosovo”, financially supported by the European Union in Kosovo in partnership with the Unicef Kosovo Programme.
