On June 27, 2024, at “Sirius” Hotel in Pristina, ECMI Kosovo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Information-MESTI, organized a pivotal follow-up meeting with school and municipal PRTANs (Dropout Prevention Teams) and Learning Centres from the 15 targeted municipalities.

On June 5th, 2024, the ECMI Kosovo team attended the PIAKOS Workshop and Contract Signing Ceremony at the Hotel Emerald, Prishtina. This event, organized by the Public Information and Awareness Services for Vulnerable Communities in Kosovo (PIAKOS) and implemented by Advocacy Training and Resource Center – ATRC, marked the kickoff for a crucial campaign aimed at enhancing property rights in Kosovo.

Recently, ECMI Kosovo’s Executive Director, Adrian Zeqiri, engaged in a dynamic presentation and discussion with a group of German-speaking young professionals from Germany and Switzerland, part of the Mercator Fellowship on International Affairs. This enriching session, held in Pristina, delved into the intricate legal and institutional framework of Kosovo, focusing on the protection of minorities and the broader state of affairs, including the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

Mr. Zeqiri emphasized that while the decision by the Government of Kosovo is legitimate, reflecting Kosovo’s sovereignty, it is crucial to ensure that this policy change does not adversely affect the citizens, particularly the Serb community. This stance underscores ECMI Kosovo’s commitment to human and minority rights.
