Workshop Recap, Municipal Action Plans for Preventing School Dropout at pre-university education in 15 municipalities of Kosovo
Workshop Recap, Municipal Action Plans for Preventing School Dropout at pre-university education in 15 municipalities of Kosovo.
Moments from the workshop on finalization of Municipal Action Plans (MAP) aimed at minimizing school dropout and guaranteeing children’s enrollment in pre-university education took place on December 4th at the AFA Hotel in Prishtina.
Thirteen of the fifteen Municipal Working Groups (MWGs) actively participated in the event, diligently contributing to the creation of drafts that were special to their respective regions.
The workshop was centered on two overarching goals, each of which included several subgoals that were described in the drafts. MWGs enthusiastically got to work suggesting programs that were flexible enough to fit their own requirements as well as those of their local communities.
Notably, the project expert pool provided each team with vital help and guidance, providing a thorough and organized approach in their planning.
This session is an important part of the ‘Supporting Continued Access to and Retention in Public Education in 15 municipalities in Kosovo’ project, which is funded by USAID under the UNICEF Kosovo program.
Furthermore, this is not the end of the initiative. Before the final workshop session on December 22, 2023, an online support phase is intended to reinforce efforts and improve the MAPs.
The participating MWGs’ devotion and diligence highlight the group’s efforts to address and lessen the problem of school dropout rates. This joint project is a significant step toward improving education and guaranteeing a better future for Kosovo’s young.
This activity is part of the “Supporting Continued Access to and Retention in Public Education in 15 municipalities in Kosovo” Project, which is financially supported by USAID Kosovo in partnership with Unicef Kosovo Programme.
