This year, up to 300 municipal officials in ten ethnically composite municipalities will be trained in Kosovo’s two official languages. The training courses in Albanian and Serbian intend toincrease the municipalities’ capacities in providing services in both official languages.
European Centre for Minority Issues Kosovo and representatives of the Office of the Language Commissioner have already started conducting meetings with Mayors of the ten target municipalities to inform them about the language training courses.
This project is supported by the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities (HCNM) and the Office of the Language Commissioner /Office of the Prime Minister, Kosovo.
