This Manual on Operationalisation of Municipal Action Plans has been prepared as a tool for municipal officials who are involved in drafting and implementing municipal action plans. The purpose is to increase the capacities of municipal officials with regards to the preparation and implementation of municipal action plans. The Manual has been produced as part of the project ‘Improving the Delivery of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Education in the Municipality of Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje’, funded by UNICEF and implemented by European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) Kosovo. It draws on concrete examples of operationalising the Education Component of the Municipal Action Plan (MAP) for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities in Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje, 2010-2012, as part of the national Strategy for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities in Kosovo 2009-2015.
